- Consultant , Moved MTG's datacenter from AT&T to Savvis in Virginia. Supported MTG's datacenters and clients using DELL and Sun servers running CentOS/Redhat and Solaris10 operating systems and Oracle, Cisco 6509 , PIX, ASA, 300N and 500N network gear.

This is a start-up ISP hosting and consulting company were I installed , secured, managed and tuned the systems and networks.

Sr QA EngineerRebuilt QA Lab , created two Support Labs. Working with Solaris 2.8-10, Redhat 9 - EL3-4,Free/OpenBSD., Oracle9i and 10g, Postgres and MySQL. Automated testing via scripts using tcpreplay, ethereal, tcpdump, snort using attack packet captures to provide standard attack signatures for N-Code detection tests, end to end data presentation and correlation system testing and to stress the system. For Stress Testing and Performance Benchmarking we used ITG, MGEN and Spirents Avalance/Reflector.Wrote test plans, executed tests and worked with development team for solutions for bugs found.

- Support all AOL/TW Kerberos KDC's, IDS, PKI , LDAP, Radius and other custom security systems and test labs.- Sr SA for Systems Security, mentoring JR SA’s.- Lead SA for Kerberos/SOI ( Sphere of Influence ) supporting 14,000 systems managing all password, shadow, group, .k5login and krb5.conf files. - Lead SA for SecureAOL, collaborated with Netscapes CMS and NDS teams to create a geographically redundant PKI in support of AOL’s SecureAOL client and Operations Security pilot PKI plan for Employee Authentication via user certificates on Active Card then evolving to USB based PKI dongles.- Lead SA for design and deployment of PANTS ( Podded Authentication of Numerous Type Of Services ) supporting Kerberos, LDAP, Radius and TacAcs - Systems included: HP, Sun, SGI, DEC and PC's running Solaris2.51 - 2.9, HP-UX 10.10 - 11.i, IRIX 6.4-6.6, OSF1 and Redhat 7.1-8.0 , AS2.1, EL3.0.

This was a Cellular engineering Start-Up where I Installed, configured, secured, maintained Scoreboard's networks and UNIX infrastructure. Working with VA Linux rack mount computers; Foundry BigIron 4000, 8000 and 15000 switches, FastIron L4-7 switch; NetworkAppliance NetCache , F760 and F840 filres; Cisco 29NN switches and 262N routers; BlackBox CSU/DSU; StorageTek L180 and L40 tape library's using Veritas Netbackup datacenter. Developed and implemented disaster recovery plan, system and network monitoring using UCBsnmp, checkrootkit, tripwire, mrtg, ntop and ,many other freeware tools. Wrote shell and expect scripts to provide centeralized entiprise wide management.

Maintain, support, design, install, upgrade, tune and secure CBIS International's , ( now Convergys ), development, CBIS Utrecht office and Netherlands PTT Telecom production environments for the VVIS project.. Work with SUN 6500, 2000E, 1000E, Ultra's, Sparc5, Sparc10, IPX and IPC systems, SSA's, A5N00's, DiskMultiPack's, SGI INDIGO2, Challenge L, INDIGO, and HP 9000. Operating systems: SunOS 4.1.1-4, Solaris 2.3-2.6, IRIX 5.2-6.2 and HP/UX A.09.03 with DNS, NIS, and NFS. Maintain and configure Cisco AGS+, 2500, 4000 and 7000 routers, Cabletron MMAC hubs, Annex2E terminal servers, Digital Link's DL2048 and DL600, Xyplex X25 Gateway 6025. Software supported: Centerline, Neuron Data OIT, Rogue Wave Tools, Purify, Atria's ClearCase, Oracle 7.1.2 - 7.3.4.4, Spectrum, Rational, GNU, SunVisualWorkshop C++, and many public domain tools.

Responsible for Engineering Support Group's second shift scheduling, work priorities, education and third level trouble escalation for System Administrator's. Worked with SUN 20's and 1000's, PC and DEC 5500, 5000 hardware in a secure environment using SCO CMW+, DEC ULTRIX MLS+, Solaris 2.3-4 running NIS+. Installed and supported all software, McCabe, Island Write, Draw & Paint, Informix, Verdix, Uniplex, and Interleaf.

- Network Security sys Admin; Designed, developed and maintained the NSP (Network Security Platform) using OS/2 2.1 LAN Server/Requester, Hyperaccess, TCP/IP, OSI X25 access and interfaced with Ahmdal, Perk and Elmer and Tandem computers. Designed the American Express Fraud detection platform- SureFAX/ Afax System Administrator ; responsible for 28 SUN, Sequent, Xyplex, USRobitics and PC-based systems within the SureFAX Group. Configured all networking services: TCP/IP, NFS, Lan Manager, 3com brouter and Wellfleet routers connecting CWC's worldwide AFAX systems. Development of bourne, korn, csh, and awk shell scripts. Configured and managed printer and E-mail systems between departments which consisted of: Sendmail with UUCP fallback and UUCP Internet Mailhost.

Increased sales by 400%. Identified customers needs and developed appropriate marketing strategies.

Installed HP75 and KayPro computers for the Stars-to-Go video rental POS system, trouble shot BASIC programs and configured modems to communicate with a HP3000 for batch billing in the eastern USA. Responsible for training, safety, travel, routes, quality assurance and discipline.
