Mat Tanner is a Washington, NC native who joined Morris Insurance Agency as an Agent in 2020. Mat is a licensed agent in Personal, Commercial, life and Health. He got his start in insurance in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he served his community as an insurance professional for 5 years. Mat is happy to be back in his hometown, where he grew up playing sports, and learned leadership and teamwork as the Quarterback at Washington High School were he graduated in 2006. Mat enjoys helping his clients navigate through the sometime confusing world of insurance and making sure they have the best coverage at the best price. His number one priority is to make sure his clients feel comfortable and secure. When Mat isn’t selling Insurance, he enjoys camping, boating, landscape and wildlife photography. His grandmother always said this is “God’s Country” and he loves spending as much time in the beautiful North Carolina outdoors as possible.
