Development of Whole Life Asset Management models for highways using available data to optimise PFI (20+ year) cost modelling and advise on potential future cost savings. Have also worked on the asset model for Amey's Sheffield PFI contract. Toward the end of the Birmingham PFI 5 year Core Investment Period the deterioration modelling I have developed indicate a saving of over £50m, an indicative saving to the project of nearly 17% against the original bid cost.

Specialist in Asset Management with specific duties involving development of Pavement Management Models, Asset Management Plans and data collection. These included; development of a Transport Asset Management Plan for Plymouth City Council, a review of West Sussex County Council's Highways and Transportation Department Operational Practices, the instigation of the first Civil Parking Enforcement areas in West Sussex, and several GIS based data collection and analysis projects.

Responsible for the day to day delivery of Contract obligations for (primarily) Local Authority Highways clients and optimising utilisation of the 100+ staff resource. My commitments included the expansion of the companys SCANNER vehicles survey capacity through expanding the staffing of SCANNER vehicles staff and ensuring at that outstanding contract commitments to Local Clients were met on time (2007).

Manager of the Network Management Team which was responsible for procurement and delivery of network management data to support investment in long term Highway Maintenance Programme budgets. This included creation, procurement and delivery of all the Authority's highway condition survey contracts.I established a charging system for enquiries regarding the adoption status for highways which created a new revenue steam for the Authority creating a new revenue stream valued at £50,000 per annum.I also contributed to the Authority's Local Transport Plan to secure long term funding and supported successful applications for multiple central government funding agreements for the Authority.
