I’ve spent the last three and a half years working in a medical device support and sales role. This experience has provided me with a first hand understanding of the scale and volume of hospital waste, particularly made from virgin plastics. My previous career as a school teacher and outdoor and sustainability leader, established strong moral grounds and awareness around the impacts of single use plastics on the planet and ways we can do better. This new awareness was what prompted the inception of GreenMed, as a means to do our bit to work toward reducing the clinical waste footprint into the future.

TechnoMed is a Tasmanian medical device distributorship, based in Hobart Tasmania. Currently servicing Hobart's neurosurgical teams, TechnoMed provides innovative products, high level clinical support and product knowledge. I have been employed by Technomed for a period of four years and during this time, I have shown exceptional aptitude and professional application to the business and all sites at which TechnoMed operate. I continue to learn and to develop my knowledge and understanding, to further improve my role and the services I can offer.

In my role as an outdoor educator, my team and I were responsible for coordinating and running multi-day adventure programs for students ages 5-17(k-12).
