• Assigned as Finance Lead within the Europe Retail finance team initially for Italy and Switzerland, then France and Belgium with a combined turnover excess of €400m, across 80 retail locations and with 450 FTEs. • Managed end-to-end financial reporting of each entity, including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, monthly reporting, and bi-monthly flash, while leading monthly country business reviews, identifying significant trends and presenting to the Country’s MD and their leadership team.

• Recruited to the role as a business partner to the Supply Chain leadership to improve reporting of financial and non-financial matrices and also support an IT system upgrade, while managing supply chain direct costs, overheads, and capex.

• Reported to the Head of Finance - Operations as a senior member of the Operations Finance team, and Logistics leadership team and key business partner to three Operational Directors (Logistics, Planning, and Commercial).

• Responsible for management accounting of third party production costs (UK and international), and other direct production costs (packaging, ink, plates). Total ~£120m.• Owned associated long range planning and reporting. Managed one direct report.

• Responsible for newsprint accounting and analysis (~£250m); this included - costing, budgeting, reporting, stock accounting, and yield analysis. • Prepared, and presented the monthly management pack to senior stakeholders.
