My primary duties as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher include: to develop and implement lesson plans according to each student's needs and interests to ensure academic success; to prepare students for higher grades and state mandated tests; to conduct assessments to evaluate student progress; to monitor and evaluate students' educational, social, and physical development; to maintain accurate student records; to coordinate with parents and teachers in order to identify and rectify student issues; to utilize technology as an educational supplement for instruction; to attend professional development, workshops, faculty meetings, etc.; to perform any other duties assigned by administration

My primary duties as a Secondary English Teacher included: to plan, prepare, and implement instructional activities to ensure active learning experiences; to monitor and evaluate student progress; to utilize student assessment data (state mandated tests) to differentiate instruction; to provide a variety of learning materials and resources for student use in facilitating learning; monitor, support, and prepare supplemental resources for students deemed at risk; to communicate with teachers and parents regarding student progress and needs; maintain accurate discipline and grade reports; to attend professional development, faculty meetings, etc; to perform any other duties deemed necessary by administration
