•Developed the concept of CERF Results Report, which became a new CERF annual flagship publication. Each year, the report is based on approximately 70 RC/HC reports on the use of CERF funding in over 40 countries. The CERF Results Reports are widely used for public information and advocacy purposes and are recognized as examples of best practice in global reporting on results achieved with pooled funding;•Team leader for development of the 2016, 2017 and 2018 CERF Results Reports, which included drafting various sections, managing and reviewing respective inputs, conducting analyses of data on CERF grant implementation, as well as managing the layout and editorial reviews;•Focal point for the strategic planning, which includes development, revisions and reporting on CERF work plans and cost plans;•Develops policy papers and analytical documents on behalf of the CERF secretariat;•Supports CERF's programmed unit in the review of CERF applications and RC/HC reports and provides advice to the field on application/report development;•Drafts parts of CERF Annual Report, SG Report and various other publications;•Drafts talking points on technical issues for the ERC, ASG, Chief of Pooled Fuds Branch and the Chief of CERF;•Manages CERF Grants Management System (GMS);•Leads the periodic reviews of CERF's application and reporting processes and guidelines;•Chairs the Information Management Steering Group (IMSG);•Delivers trainings on CERF application and reporting processes to OCHA regional and field offices.

•Focal point for CERF at OCHA Geneva;•Conducted analyses of vulnerability and humanitarian funding worldwide supporting the 2010 allocation of US$ 100 million from the underfunded window of the CERF;•Acted as the HQ focal point for and substantive reviewer of the 2010 consolidated appeal (CAP) for Uganda;•Responsible for publishing CERF funding data in FTS.•Conducted analyses of vulnerability and humanitarian funding worldwide supporting the 2010 allocation of US$ 100 million from the underfunded window of the CERF;•Documented the analysis process and developed new templates to be used for future allocations.•Timely completed the development of the 2010 consolidated appeal (CAP) for Uganda;

•Member of the Work Plan Team responsible for development, monitoring and revisions of the US$ 2 billion Consolidated Appeal for Sudan (CAP);•Supported the management of US$ 150 million Common Humanitarian Fund (CHF) for Sudan, organized cluster workshops on fund allocations, supported information processing and drafted the 2008 CHF annual report;•Drafted the first annual report on the Common Humanitarian Fund for Sudan;•In-country focal point for the CERF. Responsible for coordination of CERF proposal development, provision of technicalsupport to recipient agencies and advising the Humanitarian Coordinator on CERF related matters;•Developed the CERF monitoring and reporting strategy for Sudan and drafted 2006, 2007 and 2008 country reports on the use of CERF grants;•Responsible for financial tracking of humanitarian assistance to Sudan in 2007 and 2008. Conducted extensive research on financial tracking in Sudan. Recorded funding data, developed funding gaps analysis and provided periodic funding updates;

•Managed the Programme Unit of the Sub-Office composed of a Programme Assistant and four Field Monitors;•Supervised implementation of all WFP projects in Tigray region, which included Safety Nets, Targeted Supplementary Feeding, Refugee and IDP assistance, MERET, School Feeding, HIV/AIDS and CHILD; in total assisting over 1 million beneficiaries each month with average monthly food turnover of 10,000 metric tons;•Developed the conceptual design of the Action Based Management system, which has been adopted as project monitoring and evaluation tool in WFP Ethiopia Country Office and all Sub-Offices;•Responsible for monthly reporting on the implementation of all WFP programmes in Tigray region;•Acted as the officer-in-charge of the sub-office managing 25 staff when required.•Developed and rolled out monitoring check-lists that standardized all field monitoring done by the sub-office.•Developed the conceptual design of the Action Based Management system, which has been adopted as project monitoring and evaluation tool in WFP Ethiopia Country Office and all Sub-Offices;•Improved the timeliness and quality of reporting;
