Negotiation/Purchasing:- Balance negotiating best possible pricing while not losing sight of the value propositions vendors have to offer.- Created the purchasing process and procedure, so that a standardized method of purchasing was followed.- A keen eye for reviewing and negotiating contract terms, conditions and pricing.- Manage multiple vendor relationships to ensure the firm retains valuable relationships.- Quickly adapt to changing conditions to ensure the product is delivered on time and delays are mitigated and eliminated.- Closely manage vendor relationships to ensure vendor performance is consistent and maintained.- Maintain professional and long lasting relationships with all vendors and re-sellers.Contract Management/Negotiations:- Ensure all contracts are reflected in budgets, forecast and tracked in a central contract tracking system.- Manage all contracts from inception to contract archive.- Analyze contracts to ensure they are most beneficial to the firm.- Negotiate cost and terms of contract with the firm’s best interest at stake. - Liaise with the legal team to ensure the contract scope is fully understood and bridge the gap between the vendor and internal legal department.Budget Control and Management:- Manage companywide budget for software, technology, telecom/internet and maintenance contracts.- Forecast future purchases the firm will make and ensure strategic alignment and benefit.- Ensure purchases fall within budget and closely monitor actual vs. budget ratios.- Eliminate budgetary waste wherever possible or reallocate where necessary.Supervisory/Leadership:- Act as a leader within my department and organization and provide direction to employees as needed.- Managed employee deadlines to ensure high quality and dependable work.- Active member in the recruiting process with an eye for high quality and long-serving candidates.
