As TCR’s Editorial Director, I provide editorial and organizational leadership, while engaging our governing members, staff, and extended literary community in navigating through the challenges and opportunities of an evolving literary arts sector. I also ensure all content published through our various digital and print platforms meets the highest production standards. Further responsibilities include managing a team of two staff, interns, and contractors, grant writing and revenue growth, budget and financial oversight.

As TCR’s Managing Editor, I provided oversight and coordination for all operational aspects of the magazine, including subscription database management, marketing and communications, permissions, and production management. As the magazine’s main point of contact, my role included representing TCR at public events and industry networking. During my time as Managing Editor, I uitlized QuickBooks bookkeeping software to carry out basic accounting for the magazine, prepare budget and financial report documents, and maintain a view of the magazine’s financial position.

Fiction Mentor for the summer Southbank Writer's Program. Held individual consultations with students from the fiction cohort, reading excerpts of their manuscripts and providing feedback.
