As a child I was already interested in technology, at age 10 I built my first elecro motor with few pins, a copper wire and a speaker magnet and must say I did not have a manual for that, later I joined the school for electronics in Ljubljana. Where I was fancying computers more and more, soon I started to program my IRC client (mIRC), I made quite a few scrips, among them, was a self learning and answering mechanizm for so called un-cheatable IRC quiz. Later when I know about little more serious programming language - Pascal/Delphi, I wrote an dynamic link library clone scanner for incorporating into mIRC with better performance than regular mIRC scripts. After success in electronic school I figured that I want to do programming so I went to computer science university, what I did there was an IRC client with text coloring support made with Java/Swing toolkit it was a self picked project for showoff at end of first semester, it was a disaster, did not like how code was all messy, but I got all points. At the end of the first year my average rating was 9.4/10. As I did not learn what i should learn I moved on. Later I joined Kiberpipa (Cyberpipe) a local hackerspace, where I met so many awesome people from which I learned professionally Python, Git, ... and specially the way how to write good code, to be precise and that software without its tests is not software. There I learned about Nix/NixOS which I use still today. Nix is such a advanced tool even today, that many people still do not comprehend its power. Then I learned professionally NodeJS. But I was heavily into DevOps also, started with FreeBSD jails, ended with Docker, using Kubernetes all the way and all that goes with it. I made a Nix wrapper for docker-compose, then Nix powered Helm. Now... I enjoy Nix, shell scripting, Python is nice, i adore opensource. Also got myself two 3d printers for hobby purposes, writing models in OpenSCAD, designing with Fusion360 ...
