The decision to study nuclear engineering did not seem very logical in spring of 2011, after Fukushima accident on March 11th, 2011. But despite the circumstances of that time and because of my passion for mathematics and physic I started to study power engineering. During my studies and with receiving knowledge of different types of energy sources (yes, the renewables were rising in popularity) I really wanted to understand the core :) of energy production.Although global disbelief in nuclear slowly buries ideas for new nuclear innovations, this opened me the door to nuclear decommissioning. And my first work experiences introduced me the world of Project management.I took advantage of this possibility and spent almost seven years of gaining knowledge (PRINCE2) and experience (Projects dealing with radioactive waste management and its treatment for final disposal) in Project management within nuclear decommissioning industry. During summer 2023 I started to feel need for further personal and proffesional development. As nuclear bussiness in Slovakia is quite narrow I was sure that my further steps should follow other fields of Project management. So I started employment for company within Automotive with orientation for developmnet of electronics for controlling unit in vehicle interior. As there is close cooperation of hardware and software department it is required to incorporate agile project management. And so this is currently my new job and way to broaden my skills.
