About Matej Hosner

I started my career during my student years as a freelancer guide in outdoor adventure travel tourism in 2010. In the next decade, I perfected my leadership, people management and risk assessment skills in a high-pressure environment of extreme sports in Triglav National Park.In "the best year" of 2020 I started Canyoning Challenge and reached the top of local competition in three years. Now CC is revered as the leading expert in the industry.In the same period, we renovated an old parish house and turned it into a hostel. Kronotop is now on par with its neighbouring accommodation providers for a fraction of the price and still about to offer more in the coming years.In 2024 we invested in a food packaging facility to make breakfast delivery in Bovec.Since I cannot grow any further I am now I'm into creative deal-making and leveraged buy-outs.
