Some hardware projects at Iskraemeco:- RF module on RADIAN 433.82MHz (CC400 chip) protocol for smart metering with PCB antenna- discrete wired MBUS slave module- simulations in CST EM studio for metal shield to increase immunity against permanent magnetic field- RF WMBUS on 868MHz modul with CC1100 chip and later CC430 chip. Modul was inserted on different PCBs with on-PCB IFA antennas- same module, but for ZIGBEE 2.4GHz with Atmel chipset (transceiver, amplifier, RF-switch and Balun)- GSM PIFA antenna for most Iskraemeco meters with RF-coupler for connecting an external antenna, just in case, that meters were installed in metal case with poor indoor GSM signal.- GSM modules with Sierra chipset for smart metering- resolving EMC problems on PCBs and measuring in laboratory- most projects were simulated with Microsim Pspice and "CST Studio Suite 2008".First was CST MWS 4, then version 5 , to final CST Suite 2008.After this, PCBs and antennas were measured with an Vector Network Analyser (VNA), (S-parameters and Smith Chart).- RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology and antennas for 13.56MHz frequency band.- Embedded TCP/IP server on LPC2368 (RTOS) with RF modul- Computers, IT and networking.- Resolving and understanding EMI, ESD, RF and EMC problems on PCBs.- Near ten years experience with CST simulation tool.
