As a software developer at Mastrius, I work on the back-end development and systems design of an online platform that connects creatives with expert mentors and peers. I use mySQL and Php to create and maintain databases and web pages that enable live and interactive mentorship for arts education.I graduated from Camosun College with a diploma in information and computer systems in 2021, after transferring from the University of Victoria where I studied computer science for two years. I have also gained experience as a software development consultant for E-Porter, a new e-commerce startup, and as an android app developer for Safe-T-Peg, a safety device company.I am passionate about using technology to enrich the lives of users and make the digital landscape a better place. I enjoy working with new and young businesses that have innovative and impactful ideas. I am always eager to learn new skills and challenge myself in the web development space. I hope to one day move to a bigger city and explore more opportunities in the tech industry.
