Project Engineer | Vineyard Wind Project (T&I) | Jan 2022 - PresentComposed of 62 MPs & TPs (806 MW), 1 OSS, Filter and Armour layer scour protection, Single Bubble Curtain and HSD NetAs part of the first commercial project in US, the project came with significant challenges with respect to first time engaging with the authorities, navigating through the local rules and regulation (Jones Act, Passenger Act, …).Key responsibilities:- Market research & engaging in procurement process of potential subcontractors with regards to the scope of work.- Detailed SoW explanation and contract discussions with chosen contractor with regards to working limitations and project planning.- On-site problem solving & cooperation with personnel/subcontractors.- Working on the project preparation phase from the early concept, through the project execution of the OSS Installation scope composed of a Jacket & Topside.- Working offshore on the execution phase of the MP/TP Installation.- Engaging in procurement process and contract negotiations with several key subcontractors- Mobilization of heavy transport & heavy lift vessels for cross-Atlantic voyage in high pressure surrounding.- Daily offshore/onshore progress reporting to management - DPR, TOC, As-built documentation, MOC documentation.- Creating technical documentation packages containing installation methods & equipment complying to DNV standards.
