Previously, he co-founded a brand that manufactured rPET fabrics from repreve yarns and domestic manufacturing. He then transitioned into developing an emergency LA supply chain for gown manufacturing for hospitals and government during the pandemic. His group used upcycled SMS from manufacturers to implement into the raw materials. This comprised 10 + factory locations.In 2013, Mateo co-founded an electric vehicle company (URB-E) focused on last mile urban deliveries systems for amazon, UPS & food delivery companies in North America. Oversaw operations and branding. The company is currently expanding into new cities.In 2012, Mateo founded an innovation firm with fortune 500 clients such as nike and developed R&D and climate innovation on four continents with a team of over 50+ science, health, climate experts and organizations around the world.
