Mateo founded 3DQue to disrupt the low volume manufacturing market by making 3D printers fully autonomous. 3DQue's automation system, AutoFarm3D enables print farms of all sizes to provide cost-effective reshoring services of small and mid-scale plastic parts production, reducing lead times from months to hours or days and accelerating time to market. With his focus on lean and green, Mateo has devleoped an on-demand manufacturing process that eliminates long-distance shipping and the need for volume warehousing, reducing both GHGs and carbon footprint. AutoFarm is fully compatible with most 3D printers.

As founder of PekTech and an early adopter of prosumer FFF printing, Mateo has been sought out by Vancouverites to design and produce both parts and printers. As with many early adopters, he discovered a number of limitations with 3D printing, both with respect to print quality and the ability to produce at scale.Wanting to juggle the demands of school while still being able to print a high volume of parts, he embarked on a journey involving intensive research and rigourous testing to find solutions to make printers fully autonomous. After four years of development and testing, Mateo founded 3DQue to commercialize his solutions.
