Mateus Pimenta is an Architectural Designer, specializing in Architectural Visualization with over three years of industry experience. He holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto (FAUP, Portugal). He started his career as an architectural visualizer by establishing Mateus Pimenta Studio as a freelance project. This endeavor has promoted successful collaborations with American firms such as Rafael Viñoly Architects, as well as with various distinguished architectural firms based in Portugal. Following this initial experience, he worked at Portuguese architectural visualization firms, an opportunity that allowed him to collaborate with globally-renowned architects, including Bjarke Ingels Group and Kengo Kuma & Associates. As an architect, he deeply understands the nuances and expectations of his fellow architects, designers and developers. These experiences laid the groundwork for co-founding MINO, a young and innovative architectural visualization studio, where combined with his interest in technology, further equips him to effectively translate these needs using advanced tools to create architectural visualizations that encapsulate purpose, meaning, and clear intentions.
