I am a researcher in optics and photonics, with extensive experience in photonic integrated circuits, laser sources, micro/nanofabrication, and free space optics. I am skilled in theoretical and numerical modeling of systems, design of components, semiconductor fabrication, optical and electronic metrology, data analysis and presentation. I am currently a Senior Photonic R&D Scientist at TOPTICA Photonics Inc., where I invent novel photonic integrated technologies. I did my Ph.D. in the Lipson Nanophotonics Group at Columbia University, where my research included the development of chip-scale tunable and narrow linewidth lasers, low loss photonic integrated circuits and nonlinear optical processes.
