Currently, I work making new features, support, and maintenance of two systems: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Process Information Management Systems (PIMS). These systems work together to record and demonstrate the current state of the production process of an industry, in my case specifically a mining company. The data coming directly from the sensors present in the industry must be collected, stored, processed, and visualized according to the customer's specifications.To perform these activities, I need to manipulate the databases using the SQL language and some features of the PIMS and MES systems.

In this internship, I performed the following activities of the Automation Factory Delivery Center of Belo Horizonte:• Map processes with opportunities for technology application (automation). • Creating proposal with technical specifications of the development projects. • Develop automation project using entity and relationship diagram with data modeling.So basically, I made computer programs, which performed repetitive and data manipulation activities, simulating, and replacing manual work. The activities of developed usually use Python and VBA.
Undergraduate Scientific Research
The goal of this project is to model and develop a full duplex Li-Fi system. The Li-Fi, from English "Light-Fidelity", is a communication through visible light (visible light communication).• LED lamps used for data transmission through light modulation and reception by circuits containing photodiodes• The transmitter and receiver circuits were prototyped• Raspberry-Pi and Python code used as source of control signalsA simple modeling of the photocurrent in the receiver as a function of the light energy of the LED, distance, and angle of incidence of the light. The idea is to use this modeling as a basis for the development of a simulator.
Undergraduate Scientific Research
Developed part of the control system, hardware and software of an integrated circuit designed by OptMA_Lab, focusing on the communication between the chip and the computer, intermediate by a PCB and an Arduino MEGA. This chip was a CMOS image sensor (camera) with high sensitivity and wide dynamic range. The generated pictures were stored using the Arduino and the software development in Processing 3 IDE.
Electronics Technical Internship
Participated in the development of an electronic system designed for the manipulation of magnetostatic bacteria. In this system, a magnetic field was generated from a NI DAqmx USB-6008 controller, programmed in C, operating as a source of signals. After being converted into electric current, these signals were applied to a set of coils, thus determining the intensity and direction of the resulting magnetic field. The movement of the bacteria induced by the developed system was recorded with a camera and microscope.
