Reporting to the Global Controller in US Office, I led a 16-people team from Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Procurement and Administrative departments, while being statutory officer with regulatory responsibilities for the three local companies. Responsible for the implementation of initiatives that allowed us to access tax benefits in USA, through Transfer Price, INE and societary restructuring. Also responsible for the economic evaluation of new business proposals. Responsible for the integration process of FP&A and finance routines, including the 2019-2021 budget for TWG, during the transition to Assurant`s control. (new TWG owner).Accomplishments:- Development and implementation of improvements to the Budget process, increasing its accuracy and comparability. - Implementation of initiatives to optimize costs, including office space reduction, and interchanging workforce between companies from the same group.- Local execution of the company's valuation as a preparation to the Sale process to Assurant.

Cummulatively to Finance Functions, responsible for the Underwriting and Actuarial functions. During this period I have participated activelly on the development of new business proposals, evaluation of business initiatives and its regulatory implications.

Responsible for treasury, accounts receivable, accounts payable and investments.Accomplishments:- During this period I developed with the support of various internal departments, the Solvency Recovery Plan, and I was responsible for its approval within the Regulators (SUSEP), and the Company's headquarters, which allowed the continuity of its operation.- Insurance Company`s start-up, transitioning it from a Non-regulated Services Company to a regulated company.
