* Preparing quality control plan.* Co-ordinate and clarify with customer for QA/QC requirements.* Control all Non-Conformances and undertake Corrective action.* Review and Preparing plan as per the WPS.* Review of Raw material test certificates* Review of welder’s qualification records.* Planned and scheduled various activities related to QC* Maintenance of all required test certificates for materials and calibration certificates for equipment’s and instruction.*… Show more * Preparing quality control plan.* Co-ordinate and clarify with customer for QA/QC requirements.* Control all Non-Conformances and undertake Corrective action.* Review and Preparing plan as per the WPS.* Review of Raw material test certificates* Review of welder’s qualification records.* Planned and scheduled various activities related to QC* Maintenance of all required test certificates for materials and calibration certificates for equipment’s and instruction.* Prepare, endorse and maintain mill-certificate and inspection records.* Monitoring and inspection of cutting and fit-up for pipe joints with dimensional and orientation, alignment, after welding activities in all area of the project ,as per welding and fit-up inspection request from construction foreman and supervisor.* Inspection of welding consumables and equipment’s, checking of storage and baking of electrodes, verifying all welding parameters according to approved WPS.* Preparing & explaining the dimensional report and the welding data sheet (WDS) to the welder.* Monitoring and recording the weld parameters like interpass temperature, heat input to meetWPS requirements. Also, verify the batch certificate of welding flux, electrodes and filler wire.* Maintaining the prepared final document* Attend the Hydro test for piping. * Co-ordinating with other department activities.* Monitoring & witness of all welding activities & material testing (VT,RT,UT,MPI,LPI,PWHT)* Responsible for quality assurance and quality control activities on the project.* Preparation of project quality document and associated quality specific procedures,specifications and guidelines.* Implement procedures to ensure standards and practices are followed on all project work.* Work with the company and contractor to resolve all quality control related issues andengineering questions.* Safety adherence & housekeeping.* Liaise with third party inspection / customer Show less
