I am currently the commissioning lead of the Connecticut office of Hallam-ICS. As the commissioning lead, I am responsible for the implementation of the entire commissioning process from pre-design through seasonal testing and turnover for all projects in the region. My responsibilities throughout the execution of the commissioning process include: leading a team responsible for the generation/review of the OPR, generation of the commissioning plan, project setup using commissioning software (BIM360), issue tracking/closeout, generation of the training matrix, performing design reviews, leading commissioning team meetings, developing the equipment list, performing submittal reviews, generation of pre-functional checklists, conducting site visits, witness and collect test reports, development of the systems manual, generation and execution of functional test documents, and development of the commissioning final report and project turnover package. I have performed MEPC commissioning for clients in the following industries: pharmaceuticals, higher education, defense contracting, nanotechnology production, power generation, and chemical production plants.Prior to my time at Hallam-ICS I was a Navy Nuclear Qualified Machinists Mate First Class with six years experience of increasing responsibility in operating and maintaining mechanical systems in support of the nuclear power plant on a fast attack submarine. My responsibilities included: supervision, training, planning and quality assurance on operational and shutdown reactors. I possess a detailed knowledge of all reactor, steam plant, and auxiliary equipment. I have worked extensively with steam turbines, heat exchangers, turbine generators, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, lube oil systems, main engines, reduction gears, distilling plants, air conditioning systems, pumps, valves, and instrumentation. I effectively demonstrate leadership, along with strong oral and written skills, combined with an excellent mechanical aptitude.
