CurrentQuality assurance and review of designs and reports; constructability reviews; project feasibility studies and value engineering; Expert technical advice to SOMAT’s offices in Detroit, Taylor, West Bloomfield, and Grand Rapids (Michigan); Cleveland and Brooklyn Heights (Ohio); Baltimore (Maryland); and Washington DC. Major Projects: (1) 7-mile, 30-foot diameter, billon dollar, Upper Rouge Tunnel (URT) project in Detroit, Michigan. (2) The Ambassador Gateway Project involving ten new bridges and more than 30 walls to connect the existing Ambassador Bridge between Windsor, Canada and Detroit, Michigan with the interstate highways passing through Detroit. (3) 6,300-foot long, 23.5-foot diameter, Modified Detroit River Outfall No.2 (Mod DRO-2) Tunnel in Detroit, Michigan. (4) Feasibility evaluation of the Detroit River International Crossing (DRIC), a second bridge connecting Windsor, Canada with Detroit, Michigan. (5) Design of 7-mile long, 42-inch diameter, water main along 24 Mile Road, in Macomb County, Michigan. (6) Construction oversight of the Baby Creek CSO Control facility involving a basin, screening building, service building, chemical storage building, treatment sewer, and an effluent sampling building. (7) Design of more than 60, 000 feet of 18 to 24-inch diameter water mains along various streets in Detroit, Michigan. (8) Design of 4-mile long, 48-inch diameter interceptor sewer in Macomb County, Michigan. (9) Evaluation of Hamilton and Utah dams built in the 1920s in Flint, Michigan, as part of the Flint River Restoration Project. (10) Environmental Sampling and Reporting of the St. Louis River in the Duluth, Minnesota area. (11) Feasibility evaluation and design for the rehabilitation of failed interior ramp in the upper reservoir of the Ludington Pumped Storage Plant, Ludington, Michigan.
