PAUT/ TOFD examination with Omni scanner for detection and sizing of discontinuities in the weld joints for high thickness pressure vessels and coke drum.Prepareing sketch for calibration and qualification block as per procedure / ASTM /ASME applicable code demonstration for procedure qualification.Preparing scan plan for phased array for weld scan using SETUP BUIDER by Olympus and data analysis by Omni-PC.Read, Interpret and understand appropriate drawings, procedures, instructions and operate all required phased array ultrasonic equipment’s used in NDT process.Collecting all details regarding daily work status from each section and submitting to department head.Conducting all types of UT works according to a written procedure.Preparing inspection reports and submitting to QA-manager.Preparing flaw specimen drawings as per client requirements. Calibration and validation blocks documentations work preparation and quality check.

Ultrasonic testing PAUT& UT, MT & PT and Reporting of Pressure Vessels, Pipeline and Piping weld joints.Make site visits to understand the NDT requirement for the job.Preparing inspection reports and drawings at work-site.Co-ordinate technician at shutdown work period. Daily inspection plan, production data analyse, line tracing, documentation work, tool box talk, work permit etc.Review the test reports of NDT performed before submission to clients. Interact with client and his Authorized Inspector for any clarification needed in the evaluated test reports and furnish more information needed about the procedure of performing the particular NDT method.Visit clients place and understand his NDT needs. Gather information needed for making NDT inspection.Ensure the Inspection/Testing equipment are calibrated.To calibrate UT and PAUT equipment.
