About Matheus Xavier

Matheus S. Xavier graduated from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Brazil with a Bachelor of Engineering (Control and Automation) in 2017 and a Bachelor of Science and Technology in 2016. He received a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Newcastle in 2023. He is currently a Lecturer (Education-Focused) at The University of Melbourne within the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. His research areas include soft robotics, biomedical devices, nonlinear control and engineering education.
