I am part of the migration team at NTT Data, working on a highly significant project for one of the country's largest banks, focusing on migrating data systems from On-Premise to the Azure Cloud. Using Databricks, we facilitate the migration and optimization of data in the cloud environment, ensuring that the integrity and outcomes remain unchanged in relation to the original On-Premise systems.In executing migration scripts, I employ Python, strictly following clean code principles to ensure the efficiency, sustainability, and easy maintenance of the solutions developed. This approach ensures a precise and efficient data migration, preserving the fidelity and performance of the system.The automation of data workflows is a crucial aspect of my role, with the use of Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and orchestration, and Jenkins to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices, reinforced by the use of Git for code versioning. These practices ensure continuous updates and uninterrupted deliveries, maintaining the integrity and quality of the code throughout the development lifecycle.Working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, I align my technical skills with the strategic objectives of the project, overcoming challenges and delivering solutions that exceed expectations for an effective and lasting digital transformation.This project not only demonstrates my technical expertise with Databricks and Python in an Azure Cloud environment but also highlights my ability to ensure that the migration processes maintain the consistency of the data outcomes with the original systems, a priority for the reliability and integrity of data in the sector.

In my journey as a Data Engineer at a leading company in the sector, I deeply immersed myself in the Azure platform, with a particular focus on Azure Databricks and SQL Server. Azure Databricks proved to be an invaluable tool for optimizing processes and building high-performance data engineering solutions, while SQL Server was the epicenter of many of our operations, hosting and managing large datasets critical to the company.The integration and management of data in Azure Blob Storage Gen2 played a significant role, especially when aligned with SQL Server, facilitating data organization, security, and rapid access. This combination proved to be a robust foundation for many of the pipelines and ETL/ELT processes I developed.In the development context, my proficiency in Python was crucial, always prioritizing clean code practices and the application of common design patterns. Using GitHub for versioning ensured effective collaboration and transparency at all stages of development.I also played a prominent role in deployment and release processes, responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of solutions from the development to the production environment.Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, I always sought to align technical excellence with internal needs, striving to deliver solutions that not only met but exceeded expectations.

I had the responsibility of handling and structuring often unstructured and varied data that we received from clients. The sensitive nature of this data, considering the sector in question, underscored the need for accuracy and integrity.To tackle these challenges, I heavily relied on Python and MySQL, developing specific pipelines for each client according to a well-established internal standard. This involved thorough data validation, ensuring its correctness and relevance.Moreover, I turned to Metabase to create visualization dashboards, for both clients and internally. These internal dashboards, in particular, were crucial for highlighting and resolving inconsistencies, using detailed SQL queries for this deep analysis.A vital part of this process was the use of GitHub for code versioning. This not only ensured a consistent and transparent record of changes and updates but also facilitated collaboration among team members, ensuring everyone was aligned and informed.In summary, this experience gave me a profound understanding of data management challenges in the healthcare sector and the tools and techniques needed to effectively address these challenges.Using MySQL, Python, Metabase, and GitHub, it was possible to develop ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) tools within an initially local environment controlled by code versioning, creating a solution for cleaning dirty data, sending this data to the MySQL database, validating and creating data quality validations via queries within Metabase, along with dashboards for clients.
