Manage customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing deals. Possess knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology, monitor inside sales coordinators’ account administration and agent activity including sourcing carriers, load building, data entry, tracking/tracing, etc., to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.

This was my introduction to logistics, the company gave me a crash course in learning operations, Sea Freight, Air Freight, Breakbulk, Domestic, Customs Clearance, Imports and Exports. I learned about the business, was assigned to give weekly presentations in house as to what I would demonstrate to the customer regarding what value the company would bring to the table, such as homing in on rates, services, and customer care. I was assigned a quota on cold calls, and to have a certain number of meetings scheduled with potentials clients.

Maintained a monthly sales quota, both personally and for my store, managed inventory, held weekly sales meetings, recruited, trained, and developed new hires, attend monthly upper mgmt meetings, presenter for new hire training, responsible for reporting all numbers to R.S.D. and maintain great customer service.
