From very humble beginnings in Quincy, Illinois, Mathew combined his love for God and music and began playing the guitar and bass guitar for his home church the River of Life. After graduating from high school, he decided to move to Dallas, Texas to attend the Christ for the Nations Bible College in 2003. He returned to Illinois in 2005 and became the children's worship leader at River of Life church while simultaneously working closely with the tech crew at The Crossing Community Center. Not one to quit, he moved back to Dallas to finish his studies; graduating with an Associates Degree in Practical Theology in 2007 he became the Technical Director at The Lighthouse Church in Midlothian, Texas. A truly gifted and artistic visionary, this ambitious gentleman has always had a soft spot for children and has had the privilege to use all his talents and tour with the African Children's Choir as an Audio/Visual Tech. & Bus Driver for 3 years. Mathew now resides in Dallas, Tx. with his beautiful wife and daughter, where he pursued a new career path in the hospitality business and had become a well respected hotel manager before returning to working with children at the local school district.
