Building practical software tools for construction.

My product area of focus was Procore Financials, I worked on implementing a more flexible work breakdown structure, which provides our customers a more flexible way to breakdown their cost codes depending on the level to which they would like to report on. This specific project integrates with every Procore Financials tool and is coupled to specific features within each tool like reporting and exporting.The engineering work was done in Ruby on Rails for APIs, TypeScript/React for the front-end experience, and PostgreSQL for the persistence layer. Specifically, this project required designing a data model that is more flexible and can integrate with the existing schema, implementing internal APIs for other squads to utilize, and most importantly replace the existing system.Technology Used:- Ruby on Rails- TypeScript- PostgreSQL

My product area of focus was Procore Financials, I joined a team that was nearing the finish line on a technical debt project that unified the Financials line item adder user experience. Since this project was nearing its end, I helped polish the experience based on customer beta feedback and squash various bugs. My product area of focus was Procore's Site Reliability, where I nomaded with the team. I helped replace our existing non-ephemeral EC2 instance deployment with AWS auto scaling group ephemeral instances. This was an extremely heavy lift that required changes to our internal deployment tool built in Ruby on Rails, building an internal SSH client in Go lang, and educating the rest of the organization about the new environment.Technology Used:- Ruby on Rails- Ruby- Docker- Go lang- AWS Auto Scaling Groups

My product area of focus was Procore to Procore, which focused on adding the ability to share project data across accounts. This allows users to own their own their own data and continue working in their account, while still allowing them to collaborate with another account on the same project. Technology Used:- Ruby on Rails- Kafka- Java- GraphQL- AWS Lambda- C# using .NET Core

My product area of focus was Procore Sync, a native Windows desktop client that syncs the local file system with the Procore documents tool. The windows desktop application was built in C# using .NET and we utilized F# as a command line build tool to build, test, and deploy our application.Technology Used:- C#/.NET- F#
