I am currently working in Wellingborough, Northants so am far away from our new home. My current position is Chef Manager for a contract catering company called Unique Catering. I am manager of a staff canteen in a distribution centre for the Musgrave group. The canteen caters for about 250 people per day this is over a 12 hour service period consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner. I cook 90% of the food served in the canteen including soups and desserts.I write all the menus and in control of all ordering and make my GP every week. I have been in this position for about 18 months, in my job role I am totally in charge of all money and stock on site. I do banking of the money each week and a monthly stock take. There are 5 members of staff who work for me who I write all the rotas for.I have experience working in very busy kitchens doing all different types of catering from Italian A la Carte restaurant to pub food and busy 2AA* rosette hotels.
