I am currently a Senior Service Engineer Manager in the Transport Refrigeration industry. I am responsible for the maintenance of 1000+ transport refrigeration units covering the South West of the UK. These range from small vans to large lorries and I also have vast experience of working with portable coldstores. Within my current role I am responsible for managing a staff of Service Engineers whose roles include day to day servicing & breakdowns of transport refrigeration units and who also are included on an on-call rota to cover breakdowns on units within their designated area zones. This maintains a 24/7 service. I provide technical support to colleagues when required and also have a keen interest in developing the company products. I also work closely with the National Accounts Manager within the company to promote new leads for both sales and service. I thoroughly enjoy working within the Refrigeration Industry and like to ensure I make the most of every opportunity I come across. My knowledge of the sector as a whole and keenness to move forward with product innovation stands me in good stead for an ever evolving industry.

In this role I was responsible for arranging and carrying out the servicing on the Transport Refrigeration Units I looked after by a scheduled due date to help with the prevention of any unnecessary breakdowns or problems. I covered the UK and Europe for commercial product including coldstores, blast freezers and ground source heat pumps. I also provided technical assistance to colleagues over the phone when they are experiencing problems trying to diagnose issues with units. I was also involved with product design to help create new, more reliable product for the business.
