Later, as Chief of Staff and VP Strategy at Canada’s leading veterinary provider, VetStrategy, I led strategic initiatives across a variety of departments including M&A, operations, greenfield development, and finance. Highlights:Building Businesses - Played a pivotal role in scaling two healthcare companies, one from seed-stage, culminating in highly profitable exits for shareholders. Responsible for planning and opening VetStrategy’s first greenfield location, Lakeshore Animal Health Partners, serving the GTA pet population since March 2023. M&A Acumen - Key contributor to closing M&A transactions with an aggregate market value of $5B+. Personally reviewed and approved 60+ healthcare acquisitions and led the acquisition of a large specialty veterinary practice on behalf of VetStrategy.Finance Leadership - Have performed nearly all aspects of a corporate finance function, from establishing GL structures to managing treasury to leading monthly results calls with shareholders.
