After numerous years in the service industry, ranging from restaurant management to off-road tour guide, I needed a change. I needed a career that would benefit myself, family, and this planet. I decided to go where the wind blows me, literally. I made the choice to pursue a career in the wind energy. I am a hard worker that leads by example. I focus on the tasks at hand, with safety being the utmost concern. In the service industry, I was utilized as a trainer because I am willing to teach others the knowledge I have obtained through my own experiences. As a tour guide I was able to juggle the task off entertaining guests while making sure that every person returned home safely from an exhilarating off road excursion. I recently graduated from Ecotech Institute, located in Aurora, CO, a school focused on renewable energy technologies. While attending Ecotech's Wind Energy Technology program, I maintained a 4.0 GPA, while also having exemplary attendance. Now I am pursuing a career as a wind technician, where I can apply my knowledge in wind turbines along with my experience from my previous career.
