I am an experienced Chief Warrant Officer 4, Utilities Officer, with 22 years of experience in the Marine Corps. I began my military career as a Refrigeration Mechanic in 2001 and was appointment as a Warrant Officer 1, Utilities Officer, in 2014. My current responsibilities include advising the Assistant Chief of Staff G4, Major Subordinate Commands, and Major Subordinate Elements on planning and employing utilities equipment in support of I MEF operations across four geographically separated bases throughout the United States and multiple locations overseas. I also direct and oversee the material readiness of the equipment within my portfolio, evaluate emerging technology, serve as a liaison between Head Quarters Marine Corps offices, and act as an action officer for the scope and design of facility requirements abroad. Over the last 10 years I have served in multiple roles as a Regional Program Manager, Facilities Manager, Company Commander, Executive Officer, Platoon Commander, and a Maintenance Management Officer developing comprehensive training plans and leading upwards of 200 Marines across 14 different job fields to ensure job skill proficiency, personal growth, and professional development. As a dynamic and versatile leader, I excel in operational planning, critical thinking, and talent management. My career accomplishments thus far have yielded me being awarded an Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, five Achievement Medals, and three Commendation Medals.In my spare time, I volunteer coaching and managing youth sports teams. I have enjoyed this endeavor for over 10 years in both North Carolina and California. Additionally, I volunteered to serve as a member of the Board of Directors to ensure all participants are treated fairly and are provided the best training possible. As I leave the Marine Corps, I will be looking for employment in May/June, 2024. I plan to pursue a career in Facilities Management, Project Management, Maintenance Management, or a Management role in the civilian work force. With my extensive experience in organizational development and Project Management, I’m ready to take on a new challenge. With my track record of leading teams and creating innovative solutions to complex problems, I’d be a great fit for any employer. I am currently continuing my education and building my professional network by enrolling in Engineering Project Management at Rice University, and Google Project Management via Coursera with the intent to obtain my PMP certification in April 2024.
