Through this experience I learned much about the ins-and-outs of Washington, and also about how a properly managed professional office runs its day-to-day operations. The exposure I gained through meeting and visiting with congressman/senators, and their staffers, provided me with invaluable professional and networking experience. The most important lesson that I’ve learned during this internship that will benefit me in a career in Financial Planning is the importance of networking, and how to properly network. Show less
