I utilise my legal and finance background to execute on 5B's corporate development and funding strategy at 5B. The projects I have completed in my time at 5B include:1. Acquisition and integration of IXL's manufacturing business;2. Drafting and negotiating 5B's venture debt funding; and3. Advising, managing and coordinating various aspects of 5B's Series B capital raise including due diligence, fundraising and transaction execution.

I practiced as an Associate in Ashurst's Global Loans team based in Sydney, Australia specialising in corporate and leverage finance. I have advised lenders, sponsors and borrowers (including listed companies) on local and cross-border transactions across a range of debt market products.

I completed the Ashurst Summer Clerkship program in the Ashurst Sydney Office. As part of the 12 week program I completed two rotations and a legal secondment: First rotation: Infrastructure; Second rotation: RSSG (Insolvency); andSecondment: Velocity Frequent Flyer.

Working in a casual capacity as a paralegal and administrative assistant. The firm specialises in Criminal Law and therefore provided me an opportunity to work closely with barristers in each of the local, district and supreme courts and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).

Sydney Metro (Northwest)

Following my intership, I worked part time on the Sydney Metro Northwest Project with responsibilities on site and in the main office in the Environmental, Approval and Sustainability team. In my role, I was responsible for managing and drafting the Project’s design submission for the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) which subsequently won the 2015 IS award for highest rated project to complete a submission.

Sydney Metro (Northwest)

I completed a summer internship in the Environmental Approvals & Sustainability team of the Sydney Metro NorthWest project. As part of this role, we finalised the submission of the projects EIS, responded to EPA RFIs and completed site compliance inspections.
