My responsibilitiesincluded the following:• Obtaining the best possible rates from shipping lines• Getting the estimate ready for the client in the shortest amount oftime• Depending on the incoterm, getting the rates from our officesoverseas• Keeping in contact with the client after the estimate has been sent• Going to customs exams and inspections• Making the customs clearance process as smooth as possible in orderto get the cargo out of inspection as soon as possible
