About Mathew Giso Ph.D.
At Linksquares I used a wide array of machine learning techniques to extract information from documents. I worked on the full pipeline from training to validation to prediction. I have experience working with BERT/Transformers, Named Entity Recognition (NER), Computer Vision, and Generative Models (LLMs). I am an expert in data preparation (EDA/ETL), this includes gathering data with SQL, pre-processing, augmentation, and post-processing. I received my PhD from Tufts University in Physics. I specialized in creating models to predict the behavior of fluid and elastic systems where geometry plays an important role.
