Analyzing and grading data from the test results that have been issued to verify the quality of the internet circuit before equipment is installed at all locations that are to receive Star2Star equipment.

As a SATCOM FSR in Afghanistan, I provide 24 hour a day, 7 days a week mission support to the CJSOTF TF-10 element. I am responsible for maintaining satellite communication equipment for nine node locations that provide communications for over 300 Special Forces Troops from five different coalition forces in Afghanistan. By utilizing my troubleshooting skills and communication skills I am able to ensure seamless operation of the satellite communication equipment. Primary job responsibilities include performing software upgrades, maintaining system hardware, troubleshooting and replacing defective hardware, provide unit training and communicate over the phone support to ensure minimal down time when there is an issue with the satellite communications system at each site. Other duties include fielding new sites with new equipment. This includes system set-up, cabling and configuration of network devices (laptops, VOIP phones, printers.)
