My journey into mindfulness meditation began as the result of a mental breakdown, characterised by suicidal thoughts and a subsequent depression, around the age of 19. After refusing medication and resolving to overcome these obstacles independently, I unknowingly embarked on what was to be a decade long period of self-discovery and healing through the practice of meditation.My mindfulness journey began with simple guided meditation recordings found online. It has since taken me to 40 countries, numerous retreats, and thousands of hours of seated practice. Culminating in a successful return to education; my excellent academic record, strength to support and represent students during a pandemic, and confidence to share the practice with young people is testament to a few of the many benefits this practice has brought to my life. As such, it is my mission is to provide the targeted, mindfulness-based, wellbeing support and dedicated community channels that I wish I had access to during those difficult times in early adulthood."May all beings be at ease" (SN 1.8)
