Starting within the Asset Refresh Project, primary responsibilities revolved around the seamless transition and replacement of laptops including MacBooks within the corporate environment. This role provided me with invaluable exposure to Mac systems and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Ivanti EPM and package deployment. As trust was built and my capabilities were recognised, I was entrusted with greater responsibilities, leading to my transition into a more substantial role within the company.As the Technical Lead for store provisioning this involves being the technical contact for new stores, refurbished stores, and store closures, I hold a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless setup and closure of retail outlets. Key responsibilities include:Creation of new store Active Directory (AD) accounts and exchange mailboxes.Administration of Microsoft 365, ensuring optimal functionality and user access.Establishment of DHCP scopes.SAP user and printer creation.Configuration and provisioning of Cisco phone systems to enable seamless communication.Provisioning and ongoing support for SRG's omni-channel POS systems such as AP21, Magenta, and Scarrpos.Remote configuration and support for Zebra printers.Managing the technical aspects of store closures, including the decommissioning of IT assets and systems.Acting as the primary liaison with external vendors to coordinate and oversee project deliverables, ensuring outcomes are achieved within designated timelines.Serving as the go-to technical resource for any related issues during store setup or closure, providing timely resolutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimise technical solutions for store operations.This role demands a high level of coordination, technical expertise, and proactive problem-solving to ensure the successful execution of store-related projects.
