The role of casual Communications Officer is responsible for the timely dispatch operations involved with the delivery of professional first-aid, medical and safety services. The role involves being responsible for the reception of incoming resource requests, appropriate prioritisation and dispatching response accordingly. Working in a dynamic environment conducting key liaison functions between on-scene responders, venue managers, emergency services while ensuring delivery of services to patrons.The role also involved the development of technology to further enhance and increase service delivery involving technologies such as Computer Aided Dispatch, Real Time Reporting, Statistics Management and Electronic Records management. Working as part of a team, these technological advances required training for fellow operators & development of procedures created by a working group to create a collaborative, best of breed deliverables for our service.
