Ovivo is a specialist water and wastewater treatment company with expertise in process, M&E design, supply and installation. This includes ultrapure water, trade wastewater and advanced industrial wastewater treatment.I was appointed as Proposals Manager of Ovivo Australia after identifying that business profitability would be dramatically improved through a clear alignment between customer expectations and project execution. My Primary Objective was to ensure a clear scope of project deliverables that is understood between the client and Ovivo. This was achieved by implementing the following strategies:• A Proposal Delivery Model that clearly identified BDM Roles and Responsibilities• Development of Sales Processes within an Integrated Management System covering Enquiry Management, Proposals Management, Contract Review and Acceptance and Project Handover.• Development of Procedures to compliment the Sales Processes including Enquiry Management and CRM, Bid / No Bid, Proposals Management, Estimation, Bid Risk, Bid Sign Off, Contract Review, Contract Sign Off, Contract Acceptance and Project Handover.Other goals and achievements whilst in this role include:• Responsible for development of procedures to compliment the sales process for incorporation into the IMS.• Successful implementation of IMS procedures in time for auditing for compliance with ISO9001 Quality Assurance.• Multiple tender specification reviews and estimating achieving low Bid Risk through scope clarity and clear T&C’s on select bids ranging from $0.5M - $5M.• Successful implementation of estimate review including contingency allowances appropriate to risk resulting in a defined 10% EBITARM on a project by project basis.• Lead management from Global leads using Global CRM, and local lead management using Local CRM.• Leadership development and mentoring of sales and technical staff.• Mentoring other staff on products, processes and past projects.
