Founded inForney.com, a hyper-local online newspaper serving my hometown, Forney, Texas, in 2012. inForney.com quickly became the most-read online news publication/newspaper in Forney and later expanded coverage throughout Kaufman County were we remain the news leader.inForney.com was sold at the end of 2017 but I continue in the role as Breaking News Editor. I re-assumed the role of Publisher in August 2023.In late 2017, I founded MyTexasDaily.com and am currently building the brand with breaking news coverage across the state categorized into five geographical sections. Our Border Watch focuses on crime, drugs, security, and human trafficking at the Texas-Mexico border. Before inForney.com, I worked in the residential alarm and security industry as an operations manager for Vivint SecurityI traveled all over the United States in the course of my six years working there and built lasting relationships. From Vivint, I moved back to Dallas with my wife to settle down a bit, moving every six months takes a toll. I began working with a company doing commercial security, access control, CCTV, and also a specialized branch in telecommunications and teleconferencing. As junior project manager, I worked in designing and implementing security and teleconferencing needs of companies mainly in the Dallas and east coast areas. Projects ranged from small, to large hospitals, to government contract projects using Polycom and Tandburg devices.
