I am a highly motivated and proven professional who started as a graduate mechanical engineer and worked up to senior-level roles at well sites and offices. I have had expertise in handling 5 rig operations at a time, managing a yearly repair and maintenance budget of 3.5 million USD, excluding CAPEX purchases.I am working with Gulf Drilling (MBPS) as a Field Superintendent for their entire Oman operations. I am a certified internal auditor and API lead auditor. I was the interim Operations manager, the senior operations engineer and the senior performance drilling engineer for Weatherford in Oman before taking up the drilling superintendent role. In Iraq, as a Drilling Engineer, I managed 2 drilling rigs & 4 workover rigs in the Rumaila field. I have successfully trained many graduate engineers in this project and most of them are working as successful engineers and supervisors.Other roles I handled: Senior Drilling and Operations Engineer, Assistant Operations (Rig) Superintendent (Offshore Jack-up), Drilling and Well Engineer, Assistant Driller / Trainee Driller. In the above roles, I worked in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Aberdeen & Kuwait respectively.I hold an MSc in Drilling and Well Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK & a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Sathyabama University, India.
