Role: Senior Product Support Engineer / Assistant Manager Technical in Mould Design DepartmentResponsible for development of Moulds for New Tyre/Tube designs & patterns. Job profile also involves Failure Analysis, Problem Solving Techniques, New Tyre & Mould Design Development. Drafting tools used include Autocad for 2D drawings & I-deas / PRO-E for 3D modeling.

Job involved design verification, product & process development, establishing manufacturing specification & systems. Involved in day to day troubleshooting of product & process problems.Involved also in ISO 9001 system implementation, documentation & auditing. Part of the Team responsible for the company attaining ISO 9001 certification. Trained as an Internal Auditor in ISO 9000 & ISO 14000 systems.Familiar with QS 9000 systems and involved in preparation of Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP documentation and other QS9000 activities (as suppliers to major car manufacturers like FORD , GM , Honda Siel , MUL ). Production cum Maintenance Engineer - Radial Tyre DepartmentResponsible for Radial Tyre production and maintenance of radial area machinery and managing a crew of 50 Production & Engineering workmen.Production activities included planning, scheduling, production monitoring, quality checks, managed job allocation, manpower handling, Worksheet preparation etc. Maintenance activities included preventive & breakdown maintenance of all the machinery in the radial section. Equipment’s handled – Extruders, Imported Automatic Building Machines & other tyre building related machinery.
