QA/QC WELDING INSPECTOR (CSWIP 3.1)• Responsible to conduct inspection activities in accordance with approved inspection plans and internal procedures (Inspections like Material Verification, Cutting, Fit-up, Weld Visual and Testing).• Liaising with and advising production team on matters related to Project Quality and error prevention• Involve in site surveillance and raise corrective action report against sub-contractor if contractor fail to meet project specification and keep on monitoring about site issues.• Coordinate with client and survey and close non-conformance reports and analysis the root causes and brief the contractors to avoid reoccurrence• To brief welders & fitters in daily morning toolbox meeting.• Provide, build and maintain excellent client relationships and ensure that all service standards are met.• Perform Surveillance Inspection to ensure that the construction work is performed and duly meeting the project specific Quality Requirements• To ensure internal quality controls are in place and being maintained properly

• Inspection of raw material as per procurement order (P.O) and reviewing mill test certificate (MTC) and related procurement documents for traceability and conformance to mechanical/chemical properties, dimension and visual accordance with applicable codes and standard. • Stage wise inspection before, during and after fabrication accordance with the ITP like raw material marking, dish marking, nozzle and branch marking, layout marking and fit-up etc.• Checking preheating & inter pass temperature limits wherever required, post heating wherever welding process is interrupted and monitoring controlled heating and cooling, Soaking temperature and duration during PWHT as per WPS.• Experienced in various Nondestructive inspection techniques in accordance with ASME sec V like visual inspection, ultrasonic inspection, radiographic inspection, radiographic film interpretation, dye penetrant inspection, magnetic partial inspection. • Carried out dimensional inspection on all the finished products as per drawing like pressure vessels, tanks, pipe and fittings etc.,• Inspect Hydro test inspection on pressure vessels and piping as per procedures.• Preparation of all QC related documents(MTC, Visual/Dimensional inspection reports, Weld map, Weld summary, Hydro report and NDE reports )• Coordinating with third party inspectors and client.

• To give guidelines for Process control, process development, increasing the individual capability about self-analyzing of joining process, handling the material, safety aspects, Inspection activities correlate theoretical requirements and practical.• Verification and witness of raw material Test certificate with TDC as per standard• Regular visit to vendor site for surveillance• Improve vendor safety aspect of material handling and mandatory aspects when pressure testing• Checking of shot blasting, sandblasting and edge preparation of raw tubes.• Testing material specification of tubes & Plates by using PMI-testing instruments.• Dimension checking of shop made fixture as per drawing.• Welding inspection of super heater, Re-heater, Economizer coils, Water wall panels and all type of headers.

• Raw material allocation as per drawing.• Raw material verification with reference to TC and GMS.• Inspection of Hangers and Suspension items involving VLH viz., Hanger Rods, Drum and Header Suspension rods, U- Rods, End Bars and Crown Plates combined with heat treatment• Inspections of Structural welded items involving Inspection of Machined items involving Valve body, Gate, Steam Rough, Bonnet, Blank Nozzle Head, Guide Sleeve, Disc Holder, Seat Ring, Gland and Gland Follower, Adjusting Ring and Bushing, Motor Spacer, Turn Buckle and Bracket
