My responsibilities span the entire innovation cycle:𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Identifying and nurturing innovative concepts through account meetings and leveraging our extensive network of companies.𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: Bringing together diverse stakeholders—primarily companies and sometimes universities—and aligning their interests to create mutually beneficial partnerships.𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Guiding and assisting stakeholders in crafting well-structured project proposals, drawing on my expertise in digitalization and CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage).𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Providing continuous follow-up and ensuring that projects achieve their objectives, delivering tangible outcomes for all participants.In this role, I utilize strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including stakeholder management, creative problem-solving, conflict management and ownership. My work supports innovation, bridges cross-sector partnerships, and accelerates sustainable advancements in digitalization and CCUS.

Accelerating innovation into business in chemistry and plastics.

Pursuing a PhD taught me to navigate complex challenges, develop innovative solutions, and address the new problems that often arise from those solutions. This process required creativity, persistence, and collaboration, which became some of the aspects I loved most about my doctoral journey.During my PhD, I focused on advancing the scaling-up of photoreactors by integrating photochemical reactions, reactor design, and 3D-printing techniques. Through this interdisciplinary approach, I was able to "shine" light—both literally and figuratively—on novel methods for improving photoreactor efficiency and scalability.

For my master's thesis, I investigated the impact of EPS (extracellular polymer substances) fractionation on the biological activity of activated sludge. This research allowed me to gain hands-on experience with various techniques, including respirometry, EEMS (Excitation Emission Matrix Fluorescence Spectroscopy), and the use of ultrasonic waves for EPS fractionation.

During my internship, I researched the deposition of thin films with plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PE-CVD) and spin-on deposition for low-k applications.
