As an ESG Finance Manager, I am responsible for leading a team of professionals and overseeing the implementation of Corporate Sustainability and Reporting Directive (CSRD) initiatives within our organization. With a deep understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and their impact on financial performance, we are ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.In my role, I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sustainability, and compliance, to develop and execute strategies that integrate ESG considerations into our financial decision-making processes. I leverage my expertise in financial analysis and risk management to assess the potential financial and operational impacts of ESG factors, identifying opportunities to enhance long-term value creation and mitigate risks.One of our key responsibilities is to champion the adoption of the CSRD framework throughout the organization. I work closely with our senior leadership and relevant stakeholders to establish robust ESG reporting frameworks, including the identification and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs). I oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data, ensuring its accuracy and alignment with recognized reporting standards.In addition, I actively monitor evolving ESG regulatory landscape and industry trends, staying up-to-date with emerging best practices and disclosure requirements. Through effective leadership and mentorship, I empower my team to excel in their roles, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. I provide guidance and support in areas such as financial analysis, ESG reporting, and stakeholder engagement, enabling them to contribute effectively to our organization's sustainability objectives.
